Went to a lovely soiree thing for my friend’s birthday which consisted of a gazeebo with blankets and cushions, drinking ginger beer and wine, eating really good food, watching the olympics in the living room and getting to know nice people as well as catching up with friends and people from school I haven’t seen in ages- such a lovely and unconventional change from the usual birthdays which predominantly consist of going out and getting smashed.
