November 2010
There’s no way I’m gonna be called for interview- I’ve accepted that. My grades are way too low for Cambridge. Letter/email- just let me know now and put me out of my misery.
Today has been…nice.
Art was just doing my essay which I strangely enjoyed. Tom showed me his creative writing that he wanted to enter in at the girl’s school across the road but Craig refused as it’s retarded. It’s definitely retarded, but written well and it made me laugh. Wrote down my measurements for Mourino and she has a pink tutu skirt thing for me to wear for the play as probably the dresses won’t fit me as I’m too small or ‘wickle’ according to her :(…and they’re lovely too.
English was shocking as I got my Faustus essay back and got 38/40= A*. I was in shock and shook a bit as I really thought my essay wasn’t that great. I find it so embarrassing when people ask me what I get in essays if I do well- the attention is weird. Anyway, hello £10 from my father.
Art was just painting and English Johnson wasn’t there (as usual) so we just went to the common room and chatted about whatever.Games was meh.
Took pictures of my brother at the train station for my art after school. I was scared as there was no attendant and I thought that if I just go through I’d get in trouble. I did anyway and asked the attendant guy who was sweeping who said it was fine so snap snap snap done. Went home and the sunset at the park by my house was so pretty with all the pink and orange hues so took more photos. Stewart will be proud of me tomorrow haha.
Started my quote book for January, finishing off politics notes I couldn’t be bothered to complete in class. America’s Next Top Model and green tea. Naiceee.
I panicked as I forgot to tell all my universities about finally knowing my GCSE Japanese grade, so I had to go through the trouble of looking all over the websites to find the relevant email addresses. I just hope it makes a difference, even if it only a teeny bit.
I still haven’t heard anthing from Christ’s yet, and Megan and Kyle already have interviews. I’m getting rather worried, especially as interviews for English are from the 7th to 10th December. Who am I kidding anyway, I won’t be called for interview- I’m such a weak applicant. I’m already braced for rejection…I’ll be in that 10%.
On the bright side, I got my UEA information pack about visit days and a brocure about Norwich. My mum says it’s lovely there as she lived there before so I’m pretty excited about that.
School play rehearsals were alright. I’m starting to enjoy them alot more now.
Anyways, need to finish eating, mop and read The Road. See ya alligatorsss.
